Our Human Resources Director will be responsible for:
Training

- Develop and conduct leadership training to develop and hone
leadership skills - - - -
- Develop and or administer development programs for all staff. -

- Provide leadership coaching and support management team on
employee development, team building and employee relations. - - -

- Conduct required employee training as required by local, state,
or federal regulations.Benefit Administration

- Work with benefit vendors for annual renewals. - - - -
- Research benefit vendors for new offerings such as wellness and
perks not currently offered. - - - -
- Lead annual open enrollment with HR Coordinator. - - - -
- Lead 401k enrollments and maintenance of employees with
vendors. - - - -
- Monitor benefit administration - - - -
- Conduct compliance audits and reporting; ACA annual filings,
EEO-1 filing - - - -
- Work with leadership team on overall compensation review and
strategy. - - - -
- Work with CFO on ESOP administration when needed.Recruiting
- - - - -
- Drive talent strategy for company and work with managers, HR
Coordinator to share the vision and goals of the company - - -

- Develop and execute with leadership team best practices for
hiring and talent management. - - - -
- Oversee the overall recruiting function. - - - -
- Oversee the company website career page and social media as it
relates to the recruiting and retention of employees. - - - -
- Attend technical or vocation school open houses and events as
needed.Administration

- Oversee HRIS and records management systems. - - - -
- Oversee the daily workflow of the HR function and department. -

- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the
organization's goals and strategy related to salon operations
staffing, recruiting and retention. - - - -
- Administer all FMLA, ADA, PWFA leaves of absences. - - - -
- Complete all unemployment claims paperwork in accordance with
timelines, attend hearings as necessary. - - - -
- Receive all injured worker First Report of Injury forms, work
with TPA and MCO on correspondences and claims monitoring. - - -

- Serves as an in-office point person for personnel concerns for
both employees and managers. - - - -
- Develop performance management system for all employees -
evaluations, career track, succession planning. - - - -
- Review and revise company policies; create new as necessary. -
- - -
- Monitor employee turnover with reporting to CFO and CEO;
investigate causes and recommendations to correct. - - - -
- Review HR systems and processes; make recommendations as
necessary to gain efficiencies and or cost effectiveness. - - -

- Define and develop the company culture for employees and
leadership; active participation in developing employee engagement
initiatives. - - - -
- Conduct employee investigations; perform employee counseling
and terminations. - - - -
- Maintains a current understanding of state, federal and local
employment laws, and HR best practices; works within those
guidelines in decision making and counseling. - - - -
- Conduct employee surveys to evaluate employee engagement and
satisfaction. Evaluate results, identify trends, highs and lows,
and work with senior leadership to develop action plans on the
feedback provided. - - - -
- Ensures confidentiality, professionalism, and promotes a safe
environment for employees to bring their concerns. - - - -

Experience and Education:
- - - - -
- High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration or Human Resources preferred - - - -
- 8 years of progressive HR experience - - - -
- Paycor experience a plus! - - - -
- Microsoft Office 365
