Job Description:

A birthing center is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Bellefontaine, OH. The on-call provider will be responsible for hospital coverage, primarily OB call for the Family Birth Center, and must be within 30 minutes of the facility. Required obstetrics procedures include managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, performing Level I OB ultrasounds, and interpreting fetal heart rates. Labor and delivery responsibilities involve routine vaginal deliveries, C-sections, breech and multiple births, and repairing complex lacerations. Additionally, the provider must be proficient in gynecological procedures, including open surgeries, laparoscopic diagnostics, and major operative procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management and ovarian surgeries.
