  • Provides direct and indirect patient care.
  • Communicates with physicians, nurse managers, co-workers, as appropriate related to changes in patient's clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology.
  • Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Performs general nursing duties.
  • Assumes responsibility for unit patient populations.
  • Adheres to the service excellence standards established for Mary Rutan Hospital.
  • Completes thorough patient assessments.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills necessary to interact efficiently with all customers.
  • Works independently and demonstrates ability to delegate appropriately.
  • Effectively functions in unexpected crisis in a calm, confident manner.
  • Willing to adjust schedule to meet unit needs, float to and work in other areas as assigned and accept low census as needed.
  • Works required weekends and holidays.
  • Adheres to all staffing and personnel policies.
  • Keeps all required licensures and certifications current.

    • 1 year Emergency Department, ICU and Med Surg experience - Required
    • If COVID vaccinated, provide vaccination card - Required
