Job Description:
A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum
tenens coverage. The facility is located in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
This emergency department has a 16,500 annual patient volume and
operates with 12-hour shifts under single physician (MD) coverage.
There are 17 ED beds, and shifts run from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to
7 AM, with an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) available daily
from 9 AM to 9 PM. The facility uses Meditech and accepts
board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine
(EM) and Family Medicine (FM). The admission rate is 9%, with a 7%
transfer rate. Dates Needed: May - Ongoing Case Load/PPD: 16,500
